Coat of Many Colours

Our world is in conflict. Right now we have Israel/Gaza, Ukraine/Russia, Syria, Venezuela, Yemen.. and so many others – even the USA is in turmoil. What/who will be next. I’ve been asking myself what it means to be human.. what does it look like.. how should we behave to each other.. what is truly important as we make our way through these times? Surely we must recognise ourselves in each other.. treat others as we would have them treat us.
We wear a coat of many colours, all the colours of the sun. We share the coat of human kind, this coat fits everyone. We wear a coat of many colours, from the greatest to the least. We will not wear a coat of arms, we wear the coat of peace.

IN 2020, ‘Waited Too Long’ was the anthem for the United Nations aligned International Summit on Domestic/Family Violence in the COVID-19 Era. ‘Wild Places’ was covered by Peter, Paul & Mary on their album ‘Such is Love’.
