The Lookout House Concerts
Address provided on booking
The Lookout House Concerts are a series of delightfully intimate musical evenings hosted by Craig and Lara (The Peppercorns) up in the beautiful Blue Mountains town of Blackheath. I’ve got a lifetime association with the Mountains, from taking my first steps in Wentworth Falls, to designing its brand, way finding and numerous other graphically oriented projects. This is the first time I’ll be there as the musician.. I hope you can join us on Saturday November 30th. more information and tickets below.

Humph Hall
85 Allambie Road Allambie Heights NSW 2100
Very pleased to be making my way up to Allambie Heights on October 9th to spend a few hours at Humph Hall. I’m told it was once the Allambie Heights Uniting Church but it’s been re-imagined as a performance space/private home.. interesting! Hope you can join me there – expect raucous audience involvement, striking finger-style 6 string, feisty 12 string, tender banjo and arresting a capella as I explore social, political and environmental issues alongside the bitter-sweet matters of the human heart.

Berrima Village Hall
9 Argyle Street, Berrima
It’s been 25 years since the release of my fourth album – the time has come to record my fifth. As I’ve always believed that a community of voices raised in harmony is an affirmation of the power of hope in troubled times, a number of new songs have been specifically written to feature the harmonised voices of a live audience. We are inviting about 50 willing and capable singers to join us at the Berrima Village Hall to actively participate in a free, live performance where three new songs will be rehearsed, then videoed. Our special guest instrumentalists are Fiona McVicar (fiddle) and Ken O’Niell (Irish bouzouki) from the wonderful Celtic band Kejafi, and the concert will be filmed by our friends and award-winning cinematographers Rhapsody Pictures – Brian Rapsey and @Nigel Christensen. Please join us. Bookings are essential as space is strictly limited.

It’s been many a year since I performed up in Newcastle.. probably half a century actually. I was born in the Hunter and have always felt a connection to the place so great to firm it all up with a show at the Newcastle & Hunter Valley Folk Club – June 1st at 6.30. I’m bringing lots of new music.. plenty of laughs and things to think about. I’m sharing the night with The Bicycle Busker aka Matthew Clarke.. (half of Two Voices in the Crowd). He’ll be leaving his bike at the door and bringing a wealth of original and borrowed music.

I’ve got two shows during this festival.. 10am to 11am on Saturday the 25th at the Bundanoon Club [the venue is called ‘The Magpie’], and 11am to noon on Sunday at ‘The Bowerbird’.. otherwise known as the Bundanoon Hotel. Gasoline Pony
115 Marrickville Rd Marrickville
Three generations of Campbells are heading for the Gasoline Pony on June 22 at 7pm. With deep musical roots in the socially conscious 60s and 70s, Peter C brings his infectious indie folk together with Bow C’s metal inclinations and Jude C’s hip hop chops for a one-off event that’s going to leave us all wondering what just happened. P, B & J will be joined by Brian Rapsey on harmonica and Ben Nightingale on guitar – they’ll be the ones with hair. This is going to be a night you shouldn’t miss!
